The publishing division of Rovio has announced a game in the match-3 genre, close to the rules Farm Heroes Saga, but not devoid of innovative approaches in gameplay.

A new project from Rovio Stars is coming out on Thursday. The new title is dedicated not to birds, as you might think, but to pirates.

The producer of Rovio Stars, the publishing division of Rovio, Anastasias Katopodis spoke at the White Nights: Mobile Games Conference about what a game should be in order for a Finnish company to publish it, as well as about his latest project – Tiny Thief. 

Rovio is now not only a developer, but also a publisher. It’s too early to say how successful it is. The company’s first publishing project was released two weeks ago. The second one will appear next Thursday.
