The publishing division of RovioRovio Stars – recently announced the “soft” release of the Plunder Pirates strategy in the Canadian App Store. The novelty, created in the walls of the English studio Midoki, in many ways resembles the latest blockbuster SupercellBoom Beach.

Although, if you look closely at Plunder Pirates, it becomes clear that the British did not just copy one of the highest-grossing games in the world, but adopted the approach of its authors.

The approach is as follows: we take the popular hardcore title Kixeye (in this case, Battle Pirates), copy it, chopping off everything too complicated, wrap it in a colorful shell and release it to the market.

As a result, it turned out that the game is a synthesis of Supercell and Kixeye titles.

In the novelty, the player builds a pirate city on the water (as in Battle Pirates, additional space for buildings can be purchased), equips a combat team on his frigate (one-on-one Clash of Clans), opens a world map (similar to the one in Boom Beach), sends the ship to attack other bases (the frigate is far from instantaneous it turns out to be on foreign shores, as in Battle Pirates), trying to capture the base (its siege is in many ways similar to the one from Clash of Clans).

Add fully three-dimensional graphics (the camera rotates 360 degrees), guilds that give bonuses, and get a very tasty game, though only in words.
