The CFO of CI Games, David Broderick, at a press conference revealed the budget of the soulslike Lords of the Fallen. In total, 281 million zlotys ($66.6 million) were spent on the game.

On October 12, the gaming press began publishing soulslike reviews of Lords of the Fallen. The game received mixed reviews. Against this background, the shares of CI Games, the company that published the game, fell by 18% in a day, according to Reuters.

The public Polish gaming company CI Games, primarily known for the Sniper Ghost Warrior series of shooters, is changing its strategy.

The Polish company told about this in the financial report for the first half of 2022.

It took the shooter a little less than a year to do this — recall that the game was released in June 2021. As noted in CI Games, sales of Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 are going faster than its predecessor.

Now she owns 78.5% of the publisher’s shares. CI Games wants to buy out the remaining 21.5% and is ready to pay 18.02 zloty ($4.07) in cash for each share. If the deal goes through, the market value of United Label will reach 22.98 million zlotys ($5.2 million).
