Polish studio CI Games fired a significant part of the developers, reducing the development group to 30 people. The company explained the reduction by the desire to speed up and optimize work on titles, as well as high competition in the industry.

According to the CEO of CI Games, Marek Tyminski, the studio has encountered difficulties in developing and launching the latest Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 game.

Tuminsky believes that compact development teams will work more efficiently than large departments and teams.

Despite the words of the head of CI Games about the problematic launch of Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3, the studio’s latest title received good reviews from players and critics. Since its release in April last year, more than 1 million copies of the game have been sold.

According to the results of the 2017 financial year, the company expects to make a profit and forecasts an income of €24 million.
