The Twitter microblogging service will add information about the target audience of advertisements placed on the platform.

Users will be able to find out how long an ad has been shown and for which audience it is intended, as well as personalized information about which ads the viewer can receive by targeting.

The newly launched Advertising Transparency Center (Advertising Transparency Center) will deal with the disclosure of information about advertising on Twitter.

In addition to marketing ads, the new structure will begin to flag paid political campaigning.

The platform decided to increase the transparency of the posted information after a number of scandals around fake news.
