As part of a survey conducted by Twitter among its users, it turned out that 65% of respondents play games. 55% of those who noted this regularly play on consoles.
According to the social platform, 85% of Twitter gamers spend money on games. Among gamers who do not use Twitter, there are fewer payers – 76%.
Twitter also claims that Twitter gamers are 1.25 times more likely to spend more than $100 on games per year compared to gamers who do not use this grid, and 1.2 times more likely to purchase games for consoles.
78% of the gaming audience will learn about new releases from official gaming microblogs. Of this audience, 81% already have at least one console (53% have purchased a console in the last 12 months, 40% plan to buy it next year).
