Windows smartphones are now surpassing Apple phones in sales in Russia, – the British market research company Kantar reported.

The share of “apple” smartphones compared to 2014 increased by 1.8% in the five main markets of Europe – in England, Germany, France, Italy and Spain. Analysts from Kantar Worldpanel ComTech believe that the growth of Apple’s user base is due to former users of Android devices.

According to the latest Kantar report, Windows Phone managed to gain a serious user base in Europe over the year. Also, Windows Phone devices pushed the sales leaders in Mexico.
