Giants Software studio announced that the farmer simulator Farming Simulator 25 has been purchased 3 million times worldwide. The game reached this milestone just under three months after its release: it launched on November 12, 2024, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.

Sales of Farming Simulator 25 surpassed 2 million copies a week after its release, reports Giants Software studio. This made the agricultural simulator’s launch the most successful in the series’ history.

On November 12, the new installment of Farming Simulator was released on PC and consoles. At least on Steam, the farming simulator proved to be very popular. The game’s peak concurrent player count on Valve’s platform reached 126,761 people.

Manufacturers of tractors and other agricultural machinery actively use Farming Simulator to promote their products. In an interview with The Guardian, the developers from Giants Software said that they are now signing so many contracts with companies that this allows them to cover all the costs of supporting the game.
