Sales of Farming Simulator 25 surpassed 2 million copies a week after its release, reports Giants Software studio. This made the agricultural simulator's launch the most successful in the series' history.

Previously, the record for initial sales was held by Farming Simulator 22, which sold 1.5 million copies in its first week following release. You can read more about this here.
The developers added that they are pleased not only with the new game's sales figures but also with its online presence. The Steam version of Farming Simulator 25 had a peak concurrent player count of 135,970 users. According to Giants Software, the console version was launched by "thousands" of players, but the studio did not provide exact numbers.
Giants Software is currently working on free patches with new content for Farming Simulator 25, as well as a major expansion set to release in the coming months.
Farming Simulator 25 was released on November 12 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
