The developer of 3ds Max and Maya is finally leaving Russia. In the database of the portal “Fedresurs” there was information that on November 30, Autodesk started the liquidation of AUTODESK (SI-ES) – the legal entity of the company in Russia.

The companies announced that with the help of the deal they will be able to make technologies for real-time 3D development more accessible and better.

A year after the test launch of the indie program, Autodesk announced its expansion. 3ds Max Indie and Maya Indie are now available in 46 countries. Including in Russia.

While Epic Games is investing in Blender, Autodesk has reduced the cost of Maya and 3ds Max packages for indie studios by 6 times.

The Autodesk toolkit has become available at a reduced price in a number of regions for a limited period.

The third is superfluous. Autodesk has decided to discontinue support and development of the Stingray game engine. The company explained this decision by unwillingness to compete with Unity and Unreal Engine.
