A bit of history for reference. In May of this year, the gaming platform appeared in the iOS distribution of the social network. However, at the beginning of July, VKontakte was forced to turn off the platform.
The company did this because of “Apple’s policy regarding in-game payments in HTML5 games,” he noted in an interview with App2Top.ru Maxim Babichev, head of the VKontakte gaming platform.
By the way, the iOS version of Instant Games, Facebook’s HTML5 gaming platform, also has no in-game payments.

Yesterday, on August 30, VKontakte informed the developers that now it is “finally ready to return to iOS.”
As we have already noted, there will be no payments, but there will be a new format for the site — Rewarded Video.
“It will be available on Android and iOS. In addition, IAPs will remain available on Android,” Babichev said.
In connection with the announcement, the platform asks developers to remove micropayments from iOS.
The debut release of Direct Games took place on Android in August 2017. Today it is an add—on to the gaming section of the VKontakte mobile application. The player, without downloading, can play any game of the platform. One of the main features of Direct Games is the closest to the native experience of the game.
