The story with the loot boxes continues. Two representatives of the Hawaiian House of Representatives of the United States are considering banning the sale of Star Wars Battlefront II to children.

This is reported by Rolling Stone. Politicians explain their attention to the project by EA’s “predatory methods” and the risk of teaching children to gambling.

“This game is an online casino based on the Star Wars universe, created to lure money out of children. This is a trap,” Congressman Chris Lee said at a press conference in Hawaii.

“We are studying which laws this year will prohibit the sale of such games to children who are not suitable for age, as well as [regulate] the integration of various mechanics into such games,” Lee also noted.

He also added that legislators from other states have also shown their interest in this initiative.
