The French company Ubisoft has announced the creation of two new offices in the Canadian province of Quebec. This will create more than 1,000 new jobs in the region in a ten-year perspective.
The first studio will open on January 31, 2018 in Saganey. 125 people will work in its staff. Another office will appear in Quebec for the next 10 years.
Ubisoft intends to invest $780 million in the Quebec economy over the years. With these funds, the total investments of the French company in the provincial economy will reach $9 billion by 2027.
Ubisoft has been present in the province of Quebec since 1997, when the Ubisoft Montreal branch was founded. In 2005, Ubisoft Quebec studio opened in the capital of the region.
