Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot shared a fantastic plan. He intends to increase the audience of the company’s games 10 times within 10 years — from 500 million to 5 billion people.

The head of the French company told the France Presse news agency.

Guillemot believes that reaching such a huge audience in the future will be possible thanks to cloud technologies that allow you to run titles on remote servers and stream game video to any platform — PC, TV, mobile device or touchscreen display in the car.

While technology has not moved so far, Ubisoft is expanding its audience by traditional methods and moving into large regional markets. The company has entered into a partnership with the Chinese giant Tencent and opened two studios in India.

In cooperation with Tencent, the French publisher intends to promote its major franchises — Assassin’s Creed, Watch Dogs and others – to the Chinese market.
