ZeptoLab, based in Russia, has announced a reshuffle in the staff. The position of the head of the publishing direction in the company was taken by Dylan Tredrea, who was previously responsible for product management at Rovio. Mike Sviblov, who held his position, remains on staff as a consultant for the direction.
Tridria will work in the Barcelona office of ZeptoLab. As the head of the publishing house, he will search for new games for publishing and studios for a possible partnership,” he said in an interview with App2Top.ru company representative.
Tridria’s choice for this position at ZeptoLab was explained by his extensive experience working in a similar position in other companies. In addition to Rovio, he also worked in product management at Disney Mobile.
The authors of Cut the Rope note that they were able to interest the specialist, who only last November headed the post of director of product management at Rovio, with “interesting perspectives and an individual approach to all games that are taken for publication.”
Mike Sviblov, who has been developing the publishing direction since its official launch since March 2017, remains at ZeptoLab as a consultant of the publishing direction, will help the team with the search for new games in the CIS.
As Mike noted on his Facebook page, now he is primarily focused on another area — blockchain and cryptocurrencies. He explains his departure from the top management position at ZeptoLab by the inability to combine his new interest with the position of head of the publishing direction.
According to him, the permutations will not affect the company’s policy: “the company’s publishing strategy has not changed, we are still ready to share experience, audience, marketing and everything else with cool teams, not only to help them reach the top, but also to improve their product with our help.”
