The author of Cut the Rope and King of Thieves, the Moscow company ZeptoLab, is looking for new games to publish. About what ZeptoLab expects from projects and what it is ready to offer to developers, App2Top.ru Mikhail Sviblov, the head of the company’s publishing direction, told the audience.

We are not looking to publish a dozen games and become a big publisher, but rather are interested in finding a couple of really interesting projects that we really believe in. We will allocate a product manager to each project, who will help make the game better at all stages of cooperation.

Any developer can send us their game and get its analysis from our product team. This often helps to make the product better. Our team will give a detailed assessment of each interesting project, if, of course, we have something to tell about it. If it’s just another clone of some famous game, we’ll say so.

We are looking for a mobile (mandatory) frituplein (also mandatory) game that has good USP (not a clone of existing large projects). Of course, the mechanics may not be 100% original, but they should look “fresh”. There are no strict restrictions on genres and settings. We give special preference to games in which Am Yum can potentially fit in well, as a truly popular and recognizable character.

We do not adhere to any clear formats, but we want to help with exactly the things that a particular developer needs. If you need help with monetization — we connect our game designers and product team, if you need to work with numbers — analysts who will tell and show you what and how to count.

Usually cooperation happens like this: they send us a game, we watch it and evaluate it. If the game seems promising to us, we choose a country for the softlonch and test the indicators by purchasing traffic from various channels. If the results of such a launch show the potential of the project, there is a high chance that the game will be successfully released.
