Atari has given the official name of its new console, announced last year. The device will be called Atari Video Computer System (Atari VCS).
In a press release, Atari did not disclose new details of the future product, but promised Atari VCS owners “innovations comparable to those produced by the original Atari 2600 more than 40 years ago.”
Atari also demonstrated the controller and joystick design for the Atari VCS.

It is known that the Atari VCS will run a Linux-based operating system, and its computing core will be an AMD processor.
Pre-order of the console should begin in April this year, and the estimated price of the device will be $ 250-$ 300.
