Ubisoft was pleased with the experience of working with Google’s Project Stream cloud. Now the French publisher is thinking about cooperation with other cloud services.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot told about the work on the Google project when summing up the results of the second financial quarter.

As part of the closed testing, Project Stream Cloud allows you to play Assassin’s Creed Odyssey from Ubisoft directly in the Google Chrome browser. Ubisoft called the first results of such an experiment “very interesting”.

Nevertheless, Ubisoft has reserved the right to cooperate with other companies that are eager to enter the cloud streaming market. So, it will be possible to play Assassin’s Creed Odyssey on a wide range of devices — PCs, consoles, mobile gadgets — not only in the Project Stream cloud.

Recall that in early October, Microsoft announced its own cloud service, Project xCloud, right after Google.
