The continuation of one of the main minimalistic hits of last spring – the musical game Piano Tiles – in September became the leader of the American Google Play in downloads among free applications.
Yesterday, October 19, the Chinese publisher Cheetah Mobile announced that following the results of the first month of autumn, Piano Tiles 2 became the most downloaded game in the United States on the Google Play platform. The game also entered the Top 5 most downloaded mobile games in September in general.
When announcing these data, Cheetah Mobile referred to the App Annie gaming index for September 2015, which is not yet available to a wide audience. The Chinese company did not share specific data on the performance of the game, except, of course, mentioning that the downloads of the first part crossed the 300 million downloads mark.
In Google Play, on the Piano Tiles 2 page, it appears that the game has passed the 10 million mark.
The game was released on the App Store last August, and on Google Play – earlier, back in July.
