The head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, said that a joint show with Bethesda at E3 broke records for views from his company. He thanked for a great week and noted that Microsoft has not felt so much energy and inspiration from players and teams since the Xbox 360.
Thank you for a great week, our most viewed E3 ever. We haven’t felt players and the team sharing so much energy and excitement since the 360 era. We’re inspired by the community’s belief in Xbox and we will continue to innovate with players at the center of everything we do.

Spencer didn’t say how many people watched the show. But according to Stream Hatchet, the maximum number of simultaneous viewers of Microsoft’s presentation on Twitch and YouTube was 2.3 million. Only Nintendo had more — 3.1 million people.

Recall that Microsoft’s presentation was held on June 13. Among the most high-profile games shown that day were Starfield, Battlefield 2042, Atomic Heart, Forza Horizon 5 and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl. Despite the fact that gamers warmly received the show, it practically did not affect the company’s shares.
