PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS is pulling away again. According to Microsoft, gamers bought more than 1 million copies of PUBG for Xbox One within two days after the release of the console port of the game.
PUBG was released on the Microsoft platform on December 12 as part of the Xbox Game Preview — an analogue of Steam early access.
Some of those who bought the game managed to be disappointed in the quality of the port. According to Eurogamer, gamers were upset by low-resolution textures, a drop in framerate below 20 frames per second and other problems that appear on both the regular Xbox One and the more powerful Xbox One X.
At the same time, Microsoft began to promote Xbox One X sales with the help of PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS. From December 17 until the end of the year in a number of countries, each console sold will be equipped with a free copy of PUBG.
