John Carmack called the closest competitor to Oculus Quest — Nintendo Switch

This week Oculus announced an autonomous VR gadget – Oculus Quest. After the announcement, the startup’s technical director John Carmac said that the closest competitor to the new device is the Nintendo Switch. The situation where people will choose between PS4 and Oculus, he considers not very real. They are more likely to choose some device in addition to a large console.
