Today, on September 28, it became known that Konstantin Sakhnov, the head of the Rocket Jump gaming department, is leaving the company. He announced this on his official Facebook page.
In the comments for App2Top.ru Konstantin explained his departure by saying that he had completed all the tasks for which he was taken three years ago.
“[I needed] to form a DG department with experience in various products and specialists focused on practical results,” Sakhnov explains.
In the company, he also served as a producer on two projects.
Firstly, he was responsible for the multiplatform game “Crisis”, which, according to Konstantin, today shows “stable results and fulfills financial plans Rocket Jump».
Secondly, he was engaged in an as yet unannounced game of the company, which “will be officially presented to a wide audience later.”
Sakhnov does not specify what exactly he will do in the near future. Now, according to him, he is considering various options, “including working in the Western market.”
Prior to Rocket Jump, Konstantin was responsible for the direction of mobile development in Mail.Ru Group, and was also one of the game designers of the Panzar project. At the HSE Graduate School of Business Informatics, he directs the educational program “Game Project Management”.
