White Nights Moscow 2018 will be held on October 16-17. A round table on PC publishing will be held as part of the conference. We suggest asking the participants questions. The authors of the two best ones will receive a premium ticket to the event.

What will they discuss?

The organizers inform that the following topics will be raised:

  • what and why is happening with Steam now?
  • how will the PC retail market develop in the coming years?
  • is it worth waiting for the appearance of new large sites?
  • what should developers do in the current situation?

Who are the participants?

Nikolay Bondarenko
Nikolay Bondarenko is engaged as a CTO in Protocol One in creating an infrastructure that will allow combining various gaming solutions into a single ecosystem.

He is also the founder and CEO of the game studio Aurum Dust, celebrated this year with the role-playing game Ash of Gods: Redemption. Prior to that, he was responsible for the development of the publishing platform at the GameNet MMO publishing house for a long time.

Nikolay Baryshnikov
Nikolay Baryshnikov is the CEO of 1C Entertainment game publishing house.

Nikolay has been working in the gaming divisions of 1C for more than 19 years. Prior to that, he was also engaged in game journalism. Nikolay has also been the president of the Polish publishing house Cenega for 13 years.

Ilya Karpinsky
Ilya Karpinsky is one of the central figures in the gaming division Mail.Ru Group.

He is the deputy head of the company for games, as well as the director of the investment division Mail.ru Games Ventures. Ilya is also the founder of the Hobby Games board game store chain.

Alexey Mikhailov
Alexey Mikhailov is the founder of HypeTrain Digital publishing house, which specializes in publishing indie games on Steam.

His company has already successfully released a couple of projects (The Wild Eight and Desolate). Before that, Alexey launched Pinkapp Games mobile publishing and Mad Robots online gadget store.

Maxim Fomichev
The moderator of the round table will be Maxim Fomichev, producer of Pixonic studio, known for the mobile blockbuster War Robots.

Previously, Maxim was responsible for publishing at AlternativaPlatform, was a regional manager for Russia and the CIS in G2A.COM and worked as a PR manager at Perfect World Europe. He was also the editor-in-chief of GameGuru twice.
