The most popular iOS gaming requests in the USA are Helix Jump and Granny. In Russia, players are also actively looking for a “grandmother”, but the game “Clover” is no less popular with them.

The company AdvertMobile has provided charts of the most popular search queries for iOS in the USA and Russia. The charts indicate which words and phrases related to mobile games users searched for most often in April 2018.

Charts show the number of hours that each query topped Trending Searches (a search page displaying the ranking of the ten most popular queries). There is also information about the applications that were the first to drop out for each request.

TOPS OF THE MOST POPULAR GAMING QUERIES IN THE USA

In the USA, the main leaders in terms of requests remained the same. It’s about the miniature arcade game Helix Jump, whose publishers recently received an investment of $ 200 million, and the trash horror Granny. The success and virality of the latter is a mobile phenomenon that many developers are actively cloning now.

The brightest novelties among popular queries are Dot to Dot: Connect the Dots by the Czech team of the same name and the Turkish Rise Up.

Dot to Dot develops a trend of mobile entertainment projects whose mechanics are based on games from children’s books and magazines. In the game, the user must connect many dots with lines to get a drawing.

Rise Up is a more classic project.

This is a minimalistic game in which the player must swipe to remove all obstacles in the way of the balloon. The project in April was the most downloaded game in the USA.

Rise Up
Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle by Canadian Blue Wizard Digital also deserves attention.

The project is a logical puzzle in which the player helps a serial killer escape from custody. This game based on the movie “Friday the 13th” was actively sought by Americans for both iPhone and iPad games.

TOPS OF THE MOST POPULAR GAMING QUERIES IN RUSSIA

There are also Helix Jump, Granny and Rise Up in the top of popular Russian gaming queries, but the trend for projects with connecting dots has not yet reached. There is not much else: the tops are noticeably different.

The most important difference is the presence at the top of the iPhone requests chart of a project designed primarily for the Russian audience — a show with real prizes “Clover”. The game was also the leader in downloads in the Russian App Store in April.

“Clover”
The presence of the Belarusian Vizor in the top of the request for the Klondike builder can be called unusual.

Usually, projects that can be called construction simulators with a reservation do not fall into the top ten requests.
