On April 10, Boss Key Productions studio released a new title in early Steam access — the freeplay “battle royale” Radical Heights. This is the studio’s second game after the ambitious but failed heroic shooter LawBreakers. According to the rating service GitHyp, Radical Heights started on Steam not much better than its predecessor.

On the day of the launch, the peak online game reached 8.5 thousand people. This is 1 thousand more than LawBreakers collected at the start in July last year.

In the Steam attendance rating, the game debuted at 32nd place.

The launch of Radical Heights managed to attract the attention of viewers of the Twitch stream platform and reach the second place in views for the day. At the same time, more than 120 thousand viewers watched the broadcasts of the game.

Despite a modest start, the next day the peak number of Steam players increased by 45% and reached 12.5 thousand people.

Like other “royal battles”, the gameplay of Radical Heights is built around finding equipment and fighting with other participants in a limited area, the safe space of which is steadily decreasing over time.

Among other representatives of the genre, the Boss Key project stands out for its visual design, stylized under the pop culture of the 80s.
