Boss Key Production company announced the suspension of work on the heroic online shooter LawBreakers. The team recognized the commercial failure of the project and wants to switch to creating new games.
At the same time, LawBreakers are not closed yet — the game will continue to function, but will stop receiving updates and other development.
“LawBreakers has not gathered enough players so that we have enough funds to implement all the ideas. We have been creating the game for three and a half years and hope to give it a second life. Therefore, we will continue to support LawBreakers in its current state, but we will also focus on creating new games,” the project’s website says.
Recall that LawBreakers was released in August last year. The game was the author’s project of the creator of the Gears of War franchise Cliff Bleszinski (Cliff Bleszinski).
Despite the weak start, Blesinski had high hopes for LawBreakers until the last moment and promised not to give up until his game was appreciated.
