The visual novel market is diverse. There are applications with storefronts, there is a large segment of horror and no less large — short stories “for adults”. But within the framework of the current round table, we decided to dive into such a niche as visual novels for web platforms. Yandex Games has published “Igrotok” in mobile stores without an official announcement. This is a game library of hyper-casual games, whose principle of operation resembles working with content on TikTok. The key difference is that the swipe does not launch a new video, but a preview of the game or the game itself (depends on the platform).

Yandex has launched a new section in the developer console on its gaming platform. It is called “Metrics”. The page displays the indicators of the games themselves and their advertising, and you can also see trend lines there.
