Yandex has launched a new section in the developer console on its gaming platform. It is called “Metrics”. The page displays the indicators of the games themselves and their advertising, and you can also see trend lines there.
What exactly can developers track:
▪️number of unique and new players;
▪️average time spent by the user in the game;
▪️number of in-game purchases;
▪️ad impressions in sticky, interstitial and rewarded formats;
▪️averaged metrics of top games in the selected genre.
Metrics can be filtered by device type: smartphone and PC.
During the year, Yandex plans to add several more metrics to the section. Among them are the retention of players for the first two weeks after the first launch of the application and the download speed of the game.
