The mobile version of SimCity has overtaken in popularity other games of the SimCity franchise from Electronic Arts. This was announced in an interview with Venturebeat resource by vice president of the mobile division of the company Jason Willing (Jason Willig).

Electronic Arts boasted of downloads of its latest SimCity BuildIt time manager: in the first weeks after the release, the game not only got into the Top 5 free games in 100 countries, but also reached the mark of 15.5 million downloads. 

The Sim City BuildIt game is officially released on iOS and Android.
