According to IDC, global shipments of tablet devices increased to 47.6 million in the third quarter of 2013. This indicates a 7% increase compared to the figures of the previous quarter and 36% compared to the figures for the same quarter last year.  And again, the bulk of deliveries are accounted for by Android tablets.

The first data appeared about the next device in the Nexus line – a super-budget solution for an amount more familiar to “tablets” from Chinese noname manufacturers.

Yesterday, the search giant presented three gadgets of the Nexus line at once. We talked about one of them yesterday, but not about the Nexus 4 and Nexus 10 yet. 

Unofficial information has appeared about the search giant’s plans to demonstrate a whole line of gadgets under the Nexus brand at the presentation on October 29.  

Search giant Google unexpectedly decided to hold a presentation on the same day with Microsoft. 

According to The Wall Street Journal, Microsoft Corporation plans to sell from 3 to 5 million Surface tablets in the fourth quarter of this year.

The Google search company, together with Koreans from Samsung, will release a tablet with a 10.1-inch screen in the Nexus line.
