Despite the fact that Samsung remains the top vendor of mobile phones and smartphones in the US market, Apple is rapidly catching up with the Korean company in terms of the number of users, comScore reports.

The results of a survey conducted by Swiftkey in the USA indicate that the degree of user satisfaction with HTC and Motorola smartphones is falling, while Samsung devices, on the contrary, are growing.

Motorola Mobility, owned by Google, has once again entered into a patent war with Apple. 

The new executive director of Samsung once again stated that in order to maintain a leading position in the market, the company needs to take a close look at software.

Analysts from comScore shared the latest data on the American market of mobile phones, smartphones and operating systems. It turned out that Apple is doing the best right now, but Android may soon have to tighten its belt.
