British scientists have found that video games increase literacy among teenagers
The National Literacy Trust of Britain has published a new study in which it analyzed the impact of games on the lives of teenagers. Scientists have come to the conclusion that gamers often improve literacy, creativity, empathy, and also improve their mental state.As part of the study, researchers interviewed 4,600 British teenagers aged 11 to 16 years.
Newzoo: There are more than a billion female players in the world
More than a billion women around the world actively play video games. Moreover, the ratio of players among women and men is about the same: there are 46% of the former. These and other interesting facts were revealed by the Newzoo study.
