Google will stop supporting the Android Market app store on devices with Android OS version 2.1 and below from June 30.

Their users will not be able to install apps from the Android Market.

Changes will occur without notification on the device due to technical limitations in the original Android Market application.

Android 2.1 Eclair was released 7 years ago, and since then most applications have stopped supporting early versions of Android.

Google promised “as far as possible” to maintain support for the operation of the app store on Android 2.2, where Google Play is already available along with the Android Market.
