Google has introduced Google Play Instant, a system that allows you to run demo versions of the game directly on the Google Play store page without preloading. Google Play Instant already supports titles such as Clash Royale and Words with Friends 2.
The company announced Google Play Instant at the GDC 2018 conference, which is taking place in San Francisco these days.
According to Google, the new feature will speed up user familiarity with titles and give publishers new tools to promote games.
Something can be appreciated right now: in the trial version of the Final Fantasy XV: A New Empire mobile strategy, the gamer is offered a mini-game with a reward in the form of virtual gold. Earned coins can be spent in the full version of A New Empire.
Note that Google Play Instant currently only works in the mobile version of Google Play.
For developers, Google Play Instant offers an increased limit on the size of the APK up to 10 megabytes, progressive download support for executable code and game assets, as well as other features. The ability to launch some applications without downloading first appeared on Google Play in 2016, but this did not apply to games.
