Developers in the Developer Console on Google Play have a new toolkit that will help with the choice of language for a mobile application.

Google Play обзавелся аналитикой по языкам и странам

Android games are currently being downloaded from Google Play in 190 countries. It is believed that one of the first steps in order to “reach out” to a foreign audience is to translate the game into the appropriate language (although if the project is a hit in English, it often does not need this).

But if the question still arises, which language should I choose?

The new Google Play toolkit is designed to help in this not always easy task. Thanks to it, developers will be able to receive, among other things, information about the top countries where the application is installed, the percentage of user downloads segmented by language, additional information about which languages the project should be translated into in order to achieve greater coverage.

The new tool works in conjunction with the Google Play service for ordering application translations.
