Google Corporation plans to create a gaming service on cloud servers. And in the future, it can present its own game console, Engadget reports.

According to Engadget, the Google gaming cloud service project has the working name Yeti and has been in development for about 2 years.

Yeti will be available by subscription, similar to Sony’s PlayStation Network.

It is assumed that game streaming will work through the Chromecast player, designed for streaming media content.

Google is currently testing the hardware for the project.

Information about Google’s work on its gaming service is indirectly confirmed by the fact that last month the company hired Phil Harrison as vice president. Phil Harisson is a gaming platform specialist who has worked for Sony and Microsoft for more than 15 years.

Google has not commented on this information yet.
