Over the past 24 hours, Steam support has received 49,896 user requests for refunds for purchased games.
This indicator is several times higher than the number of requests related to other user problems: protection and recovery of user accounts, the operation of Steam services and transactions.
The Steam support page reports that the processing time for one refund request ranges from 49 minutes to 1 hour 45 minutes.
In early May, Steam revealed the statistics of support requests and indicated the response time to user requests.
Refunds appeared in 2015. The feature allows players to refund money for the game, provided that they spent less than two hours in it and applied for a refund no later than 14 days from the date of purchase.
Last month, Microsoft began testing a similar scheme for Xbox One and Windows 10 users through the Xbox Insider program.
