Michael Schade announced the sale of Fishlabs. As a result of the deal, he and the second co-founder Christian Lohr will leave the company. The buyer’s name is still kept secret.

According to Shade, the transaction is framed in such a way that, in accordance with German law, “all employees will automatically go to the buyer.” Accordingly, no staff reductions are expected. At the same time, Fishlabs Entertainment GmbH will cease to exist.

The news followed immediately after the latest release of Galaxy on Fire – Alliances on the App Store. Back in October, Shade stressed the need for outside financing of the company, despite the obvious success of the new title.

We experienced difficulties that hindered the development of the company. In particular, the transition from premium to free-to-play and the need to keep up with the ever-changing market of mobile applications, the quality of which tends to console at the speed of light,” he explained.

The deal should be officially announced later. Perhaps the buyer’s name will be reported at the same time.
