The restructuring of Embracer Group affected another subsidiary studio of the Swedish holding. Now layoffs have taken place in Crystal Dynamics, known for the Tomb Raider series of games.
Initially, former studio employees told about the dismissals in social networks. Soon Crystal Dynamics confirmed their words. She said that she had parted with ten employees: one employee of the IT department and nine with marketing and brand specialists. According to management, staff reduction will help bring Crystal Dynamics in line with current business needs.
Embracer Group started restructuring in June. It is known that since then she has carried out layoffs at Gearbox Publishing, Beamdog and Rainbow Studios, and also closed Volition Games and Campfire Cabal.
