Swedish developer and publisher Paradox Interactive will return the game price tags to the previous level after the mass dissatisfaction of gamers with the company’s policy.

This was announced by the CEO of the company Frederic Wester (Frederic Wester) on the official Paradox forum.

“After yesterday, it sounds a little schizophrenic, but I really appreciated the reaction of our community and spent 24 hours reading comments and responding to emails,” Wester wrote.

He promised to cancel the latest price increase for Paradox Interactive games and added that the company will continue to inform players about changes in the cost of games in advance.

According to Vester, Steam cannot change the prices of games until the end of the summer sale, which will last from June 22 to July 5. Therefore, all those who bought games and add-ons from Paradox during this period will either receive monetary compensation through Steam, or will give games for this amount.

Frederick Wester stressed that he has never been led by public opinion, but this time he is ready to change his position after communicating with people who have been active members of the Paradox gaming community for more than 10 years.
