Arcade race QQ Speed from Tencent in February took 2nd place in the list of the most profitable mobile games in the world. This is reported by the analytical company SuperData.
QQ Speed was released in December last year, and by the end of February, the game’s revenue was second only to Tencent’s flagship, MOBA Honor of Kings.
SuperData noted that QQ Speed turned out to be one of the fastest growing mobile titles in the entire history of observations.

Fortnite continues to grow
The appearance of Fortnite Battle Royale on the untapped free-to-play console games market has increased this segment of F2P games by 359% compared to last year.
In addition, Fortnite in February earned more from the sale of in-game content than any console title, with the exception of the leader of the Call of Duty: WWII rating.
PUBG started to slow down
Superdata also reported 2.5 million digital copies of PLAYERUNKNOWN BATTLEGROUNDS sold. Title sales are falling for the second month in a row, but they are still supported by the release of the game on Xbox One.

The global market in February grew by 6% compared to last year and reached $9.1 billion.
Sales of premium PC games increased by 33% during this period, and console titles — by 34%.
At the same time, the revenues of free-play games on PC decreased by 4%, and mobile free-play, on the contrary, increased by 4%.
