Within 5 days after the release of Kobolds and Catacombs, Hearthstone earned $5.2 million on mobile. This is a good, but not the best result in the history of the game.

The biggest spending of gamers in the history of mobile Hearthstone was stimulated by the Knights of the Frozen Throne supplement, released before Kobolds and Catacombs in August of this year. In 5 days, the Knights of the Ice Throne helped Blizzard earn $6.6 million.

Following him in the ranking are the additions Whispers of the Old Gods ($5.7 million) and Journey to Un’goro ($5.7 million).

Sensor Tower also analyzed the revenue growth in Hearthstone after the release of each of the 7 additions.

The biggest impact on Hearthstone’s revenue was made by the very first Gnomes and Goblins addon, after the release of which the game profit increased by 426% in 5 days.

The second most powerful addition was Mean Streets of Gadgetzan, which raised revenue by 311% in a five-day period.

The third place belongs to the aforementioned Knights of the Frozen Throne, thanks to which Hearthstone’s revenues increased by 176% to a record value within 5 days.

Despite the relative decline in the latest addition, gamers continue to spend an average of $8 million per month in Hearthstone.
