ESforce Holding, which received $100 million of investments from businessman Alisher Usmanov’s USM Holding company, launched the streaming service Looch TV.
This was reported by the newspaper “Gazeta”.
Game broadcasts can be watched on Looch TV both through the browser and in the mobile application of the platform. So far, the service is working in test mode.
It is expected that Looch TV will compete with platforms such as Twitch and YouTube.
Streaming has become a trend in the development of social Internet services. Over the past year, users of Facebook and VKontakte social networks have had the opportunity to broadcast, and Twitter has started showing live esports tournaments.
USM Holding is owned by Russian media magnate Alisher Usmanov, who also owns Mail. Ru (social networks VKontakte and Odnoklassniki) and mobile operator Megafon.
USM Holding includes an esports team Virtus.pro , has repeatedly become a champion and prize-winner of international tournaments in gaming disciplines.
