The VKontakte social network allowed all users to broadcast from desktop computers and mobile devices .
“We are pleased to announce that now all users and communities can conduct live broadcasts of VKontakte using computers, laptops and special equipment,” the company’s blog says.
VKontakte live broadcasts can be added to a page or to a community, sent in a personal message, shared on a wall or embedded on an external site. Like regular videos, they are automatically played in the news feed with the sound turned off.
Viewers of the broadcast can chat.
You can send donations to streamers using the “Support” button under the broadcast player.
The authors of the broadcasts, who have gained from 250 thousand subscribers, can participate in the video content distribution program and earn money by showing ads in front of their videos: to participate, you need to send a request to the support of the social network.
Until now, only official communities and public pages with at least 100 thousand subscribers could broadcast on VKontakte from desktop systems.
Earlier, the social network Facebook launched the opportunity to broadcast from desktop PCs and mobile devices.
