The price per installation (CPI) of the game on iOS is higher than on Android. $0.82 versus $0.59, – the Clickky advertising platform reports.

These are the average prices for 2016 worldwide. The average cost of attraction varies from country to country.

The most expensive iOS traffic in Italy: $1.5 (versus $0.50 on Android). The region with the most expensive cost of installing an Android application is Japan – $1 ($1.10 on iOS).

Everywhere, except Russia and India, iOS traffic is more expensive than Android traffic.

The company’s analysts attribute the higher cost of Android traffic in Russia in relation to iOS traffic to a high level of penetration of devices on Google’s OS and, as a result, with a large number of downloads: “In 2016, 86% of game installations in Russia were on Android devices, while iOS users downloaded only 11% of the total number of gaming applications.” That is, in the Russian market, the competition for an Android player is more fierce.

The data of the Chartboost advertising platform are seriously different from those presented by Clickky. The platform assures that the highest CPI on iOS and Android in Australia is $4.02 and $3.15, respectively. Italy is not even in the top ten in any region.

At the same time, both in Russia and in India, according to Chartboost, the cost of installation on iOS is higher than on Android.
