75% of players named rewarded ads in mobile games as the most preferred type of ads.
This is reported in a study by Modern Mobile Gamer advertising company Tapjoy.
According to Tapjoy, 10% of respondents refused to watch rewarded ads in mobile games.
The vast majority (79%) of gamers want to see ads in freeplay games only after a preliminary request.
In addition, 55% of respondents stated that they prefer freemium games to other monetization models. 21% of respondents voted for freeplay games with non-rewarded advertising, and 14% choose paid games without advertising at all.
Speaking about the content of advertising, 44% of gamers called humorous content the most pleasant type of ads. Only 12% of the study participants voted for ads using sexual images.
Tapjoy data is compiled on the basis of an April survey of 2,615 users in the United States.
