Half of the gaming teams in mobile don’t mind changing their advertising partner. Some of them consider their earnings from advertising to be low. This was told by the Clickky platform, which interviewed 430 mobile game developers.

The situation may seem dysfunctional. However, Clickky analysts note that the majority of respondents are generally satisfied with their monetization platform (65.8% of respondents stated this).

The fact that many of them are ready to change the advertising network may be due to the desire to maximize revenue. Most of the teams noted in the survey that, of course, they would like to significantly increase earnings from advertising. Currently, the median eCPM rates received by developers, according to Clickky, is $1.65.

The most popular advertising platforms today are Admob and Unity. But teams, as a rule, do not use only one solution. Most game developers are connected to several sites at the same time.

Many noted that they would like not only to place offers in their advertising platform, but also to buy installations.

The fact is that in order to increase earnings, it is necessary that there be more impressions. Impressions are generated by users. The latter are purchased using separate tools. This can create difficulties. Tools capable of both advertising and traffic acquisition will help provide greater transparency.

As we have already noted above, a total of 430 gaming teams were interviewed during the study. Of these, only 71% resort to monetization through advertising. The remaining ones prefer to do without the integration of advertising SDKs for now.
