This, among other things, is due to the rapid growth of the mobile Internet and the growth of spending by home users on mobile devices and applications, reports Cnews with reference to the latest report of the analytical company IDC.

According to the company, in 2011, the majority of the market – 39.6% – was in the private sector. Last year, users spent a lot of money not only on the purchase of PCs, but also on the purchase of mobile devices and applications to them.

In turn, IT costs were also growing in the corporate sector. Moreover, according to IDC analysts, most of the costs fell on the telecommunications industry (as well as on transport and energy). Of course, the widespread use of the mobile Internet and the desire of many companies to “develop cloud services” played a role here.

Of course, according to the report, it is impossible to say that the mobile segment has become the main catalyst for the growth of the Russian high-tech market, but it has played and continues to play an important role in it.

According to analysts’ forecasts, in 2016 the volume of the Russian IT market will amount to $47.3 billion.
