In the latest update of the My Xbox Live iOS app (v. 1.6), an interesting feature has appeared that turns the iPad into a kind of remote control for the Xbox 360 game console.
Naturally, the initial list of actions that can be performed from a tablet is not too extensive. It still includes launching games, browsing through the general user interface, and managing when viewing video content. Let’s hope that in the near future the developers will “teach” the My Xbox Live mobile client and the devices on which it is installed to execute other commands. Recall that this application, among other things, allows you to customize your avatar, work with achievement lists, profiles, chat with friends, etc.
Some experts consider the inclusion of these functionality in the application as one of the natural steps towards the official release of Smart Glass and the further development of the “second screen” concept.
